It mixes freely with water and suits finishes for all types of upper, garment and glove leather. Formulating with SB resin is simple and convenient.
Main composition: polyacrylate emulsion with a novel structure.
Properties
1. SB resin has excellent dispersibility and suits mid and top coats on corrected-grain or full-grain leather. Its emulsion particles are fine and storage stability is good.
2. SB resin forms a medium-hard, strongly adhesive film that dries fairly quickly. To improve levelling during finishing, add a little Soft-1 resin or 2-5% of a levelling agent such as ethylene glycol methyl ether.
3. SB resin offers the following advantages in leather finishing
Good heat and cold resistance; high gloss and excellent water resistance; outstanding abrasion and dry/wet rub resistance; good ageing and flex resistance; excellent resistance to a wide range of organic solvents; leather finished with SB resin is full, smooth, crisp and fine in hand.
