Anhui Wiseleap New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.'s project (annual capacity of 8,000 t coupling agents, 10,000 t waterborne polyurethane, 8,000 t waterborne acrylic, 5,000 t water-based grinding aids, 3,000 t water treatment chemicals, 5,000 t cleaning agents, 3,000 t coating additives and 3,000 t ink additives) has successfully passed the safety condition review for hazardous chemical construction projects by the Chuzhou Emergency Management Bureau and obtained the Safety Condition Review Opinion (Chu Ying Ji Wei Hua Project An Tiao Shen Zi [2024] No. 5).
The safety condition review of hazardous chemical construction projects is a vital prerequisite for any chemical project. During the review the expert panel and the competent authorities rigorously examined the application documents, process route, hazard identification and safety assurance conditions, and approved the project after comprehensive assessment.
The review opinion states that the safety condition assessment report will serve as an important basis for the safety facility design, and construction may begin once the dedicated safety facility design review is approved. It also stresses that any major change in process, scale or site requires a new safety assessment and application, and that the opinion is valid for two years from issue.
Focusing on coupling agents, waterborne polyurethane, waterborne acrylic and various functional additives, and guided by green chemistry, this new materials project will further expand the company's high-performance capacity, complete the product matrix and strengthen its overall supply capability in fine chemicals and new materials once in production.
